Myopia is one of the most common vision conditions worldwide - and it’s becoming increasingly prevalent in both children and teens. For patients enrolled in a myopia management program, consistent monitoring plays a key role in maintaining eye health and ensuring that treatment remains effective

 Recommended Schedule

  • Infants: First check at 6–12 months to ensure healthy development.
  • Children (Ages 3–18): Once a year. This is the "growth phase" where vision changes most rapidly.
  • Adults (18–39): Every 2 years if vision is stable; every year if you wear glasses or contacts.
  • Seniors (60+): Every year, as myopia can be worsened by developing cataracts.

Book an Appointment Immediately If:

  • You find yourself squinting to see distant objects (like road signs or the board).
  • You experience frequent headaches after screen use or driving.
  • You notice a sudden "haze" or blur in your distance vision.
